Paving & Decking Project 6 2017-02-05T04:06:45+00:00

Project Description

Project Details

This project entails re-landscaping the back yard of this property which was started by another landscaper who messed it up. The biggest task on this project is to remove 75m2 recently paved area under the patio and lay new granite paving. The previous landscaper tried laying high quality granite paving on a sand bed with no suitable base and then tried to wash them with hydrochloric acid. As you can see from the photos washing natural stone with acid absolutely ruins the paver. Laying on a sand bed with no suitable base produces a poor quality job. All paving we do at Forever Green is done on a concrete base and mortar bed, which guarantees the best quality job. If the client had originally used a licensed landscaper/builder registered with Landscaping Victoria and Masters Builders Association of Victoria this would never had happened. It is the law that all hard landscaping works must be conducted by a licensed landscaper who is registered with MBA and has a restricted builder license in Structural Landscaping. View this link below which outlines the requirement when undertaking you landscaping project where works is worth more than $5,000.00:
